I created full colour mockups of the landing and search results pages for desktop and mobile view in Figma before designing in the browser.

I wanted to design an unconventional search page that wasn’t your typical white screen with a search bar. Using flat design elements inspired by Google’s Material Design, I chose to use a bright purple colour scheme and card based layout for the search results page to create an unexpected search experience that still remains easy to scan.
